What the hell? Are there any authentic, capital-D Doms who detest their partners?
I mean. Yeah, there might be some subs (not gonna dignify that with a capital S) who’ll glom onto partners who legitimately loathe them. But they’re not healthy Subs, their partners aren’t Dons, and more to the point their relationships aren’t legit D/S.
Because a D/S relationship is still a fuckin relationship it would be weird and/or dysfunctional to want a partner you couldn’t love or who couldn’t love you.
I think people get the idea these kinds of doms and, especially, “dommes” exist from sex-worker “dominatrix” tropes. But these should be taken with the same grain of salt as any other commercial mythology. (Hint: Budweiser doesn’t use horses with big feet to deliver beer.)
My guess is that @marquiseoftease is a marvelous Dom who shouldn’t believe the bullshit she’s been fed.
