Long story short:
As a teenager I thought that penises were supposed to be straight and not curved. Teenagers are insecure, especially about their body. In my case I was insecure about the size and shape. Later on I learned to accept it the way it is.

Oh god yes! Mine curves up and I was sure that meant I was so deformed no one would ever want anything to do with me.
I mean my urethra was on the bottom instead of running through the center of a uniform, featureless, symmetrical pole.
Instead we’re all pretty ordinary, there’s just a hell of a lot of natural variation.
Same’s true for”lady parts,” especially labia.
