Remember when Netflix and Tumblr didn’t exist and you read like 10 books a week? Good times.
All that and about 30 magazines. None from the racks by the checkout counters.
Spent so much more of my income – definitely a higher percentage of my income – on books and magazines than hardly anyone spends on their phone and data plans. (I still read about as much as I ever did, it’s just all on Kindle, Audible, Feedly or Newsbur apps. And of course it’s pretty much infinitely easier to write and be read!)
