Reblog if you are 100% okay with a transgender person correcting you if you accidentally misgender them or use their dead name.
This goes for NB folks as well! I’m terrible at remembering names of any kind, so if I mess up your name or pronouns it’s not because I don’t acknowledge or respect them, it’s because I have a sh*t memory and sometimes forget to check blog descriptions before addressing someone.
It’s especially hard if I knew you before. And especially since I have lifelong mild name retention issues anyway. But if… ok, when… you correct me I’ll apologize. Every time. And kick myself. Every time. Till I get it right. Because you matter.
