This makes me so happy for very unconventional reasons: he’s quite a bit shorter than she is. It doesn’t matter. It shouldn’t. But DAMN there’s some serious height bias/preference in heterosexuals. Women as much as men.
I first noticed it at a dance where all but one out of maybe 100 mostl-married couples the man was taller than the woman. That despite the fact that maybe 15 or 20 of the women were taller than maybe 15 or 20 of the men. They were just never partners. Except that one.
