A Tumblr friend sent an Ask that said

Yeah, if I understand this correctly they do that when you’ve got flagged content somewhere in your blog. One of my recent ones got flagged, an extraordinarily mild one with a little bit of bare male butt with a strong implication that heterosexual intercourse was happening outside the camera’s frame. Kind of outrageous considering what does still seem to get through, but, hey, “Forget it, Jake, it’s Chinatown Tumblr.”

I don’t mind getting filtered if I’m just reposting and captioning straight-up porn. It bugs me when there’s editorial content – especially when I’m trying to tackle pernicious stereotypes.
