Do you have instagram or any other social media pages we can follow?
I have been building a backup/mirrored version of this Tumblr blog. It’s so not ready for prime time but once I’ve got the performance kinks (heh) worked out and can make it secure, and get all the images to show properly (they’re all squeeny Tumblr sizes) I’ll let people know.
But I’m really an old-school web and blog kind of person. Tumblr’s the only social-media (a.k.a. someone else owns it) site I post on. And to be honest Tumblr’s an awesome example of why letting someone else host your content isn’t great.
But hey, at least Tumblr’s not SquareSpace or LiveJournal… yet. So I’ll keep plugging away here at least till I’m ready to let people know about my backup site. And probably till they get around to really shutting things down. (I think they’re being as half-assed about filtering content as they’ve been about lots of other things, tbh.)
