Sort of. I’ve texted with someone I was involved with long ago

Yes. Sort of. I’ve had sex with more people for their first time. “Virginity” is kind of a gross concept that’s historically had way more to do with property rights than human rights.
4. Is trust a big issue for you?
Yes. Though really the better my boundaries the easier it is for me to trust people.

People I like, yes, recently. A person I like? Sadly no.

A mini-vacation / business trip coming up soon. Interviewing a possible new employee so I can someday take real vacations.

It’s the middle of the afternoon!

No. It’s complicated. But not disgusting. I go into caregiver mode. It’s particularly messy if they’re wasted and want to be sexual because “consent” is short for “competent consent.” If someone’s too wasted to drive they’re too wasted to consent.
Not sure why there’s a gender question involved: it’s concerning when anyone gets really wasted, isn’t it?

It’s been years. I get episodic depression, which used to leave me feeling “broken,” but now I look at it the same way I do the flu, a migraine, or a sprained ankle. I”m not “broken” when I’ve got the flu, just miserable, right? So I’m not “broken” when my serotonin goes out of whack either – just miserable.

Sadly no.

I’m not as old and ugly as I feel. I’ve felt ugly as long as I can remember, I first felt old when I turned 19! Feelings aren’t strictly bullshit, but they’re highly suspect. It’s as narcissistic to disagree with others who think you’re attractive as it is to imagine you’re attractive when no one else agrees.

I seem to be. I blame that Americano. Mmm, caffeine!

I actually swam with sharks once. Friends say it looked like I levitated out of the water. I’d seen the sharks. I didn’t want to swim with them then, don’t want to repeat the experience ever.

No. Well sort of. His were more brown, mine are a little more greenish-brown.

Awesome. Go for it. I might be sad for me if they preferred someone else. But I’d be happy for them. Who they kissed wouldn’t really matter, would it?

Yes! I miss my children when they were small. I love them madly now that they’re grown, but miss being able to carry them both upstairs at the same time and read to them at bedtime.

Everybody deserves a second chance because we’re all human. It’s up to us whether we give them a third chance, because we deserve that.

Pretty much every single crush I’ve ever had, going back to the cute girl in 2nd grade. (I still sometimes cringe about that one, even though in retrospect I was just a cute little boy.)

When I’m at a nude beach, hot tub, or house I’ll go naked. But I got my first pre-cancerous lesion burned off at age 25. So the less sun exposure I get the happier I am.

To be honest I don’t think I’ve ever heard a Taylor Swift song! I’m sure I’ve heard her but I have a very hard time telling pop musicians apart.

Yes. They traumatized me for life. (I’ll never square dance!) I took swing dance lessons but was never very good at it. I’d like to give it another go – there’s a real renaissance in swing and ballroom dancing going on these days.

I’m not likely to marry again (see below) but I support every partner no matter what she wants to do.

Ok. True fact. I was terrible at spelling! You’ll probably notice from all my typos! But for some reason in 8th Grade I made it to the #2 position in my school. They weren’t even all easy words, I just happened to know or could guess how to spell them. At the end it was me and another kid, a good friend who really did know how to spell. Whoever one would go to the city-wide spelling bee. We’d already gone three or four rounds with no errors. I remember looking at him, knowing he not only would do a better job but he really wanted and deserved it. And so I deliberately spelled “illustrate” incorrectly.

Oh my yes! Every wedding. At the national anthem at high-school football games. When my children were born. When they graduated. If you’ve never been happy enough to cry real tears of joy you’re missing a treat.

Ironically yes. I’ve had to have several corrective surgeries on my jaws and nose. These were done by surgeons who tended to do plastic surgery. All internal, though, so, sadly, my face looks exactly the same!

I was engaged to one person, was engaged and married to someone else. I don’t think of myself as old but I don’t think I’ll get married again. For me, anyway, marriage is about raising a family, and if I somehow could start over (I’ve already had one vasectomy, a reversal, and another vasectomy so the ends are going to be a little tattered down there) I’d be truly old before they could graduate from college. So no.
