Would it really be a problem if they were straight?

Gotta say I adored Good Omens. Loved reading the. Ok when my children did many years ago, and was so, so pleased with the screen adaptation.

I loved the relationship between Aziraphale and Crowley. But to be honest I hadn’t considered that they were gay. Yes, of course Even Neil Gaiman says they are so it’s even canon.

But tbh it bugs me that nobody believes straight men could love each other that much. Or that men could be so close to someone without being sexual.

I think they’re an adorable couple but the gendered, stereotyped assumptions still disappoint me.
