Yeah.  I’ve noticed.  I mean, to be fair my blog really is pretty explicit, and I even marked it as “adult content” when I first set it up.  I have no idea why they finally threw the switch though.

Someone told me that they do it automatically if you’ve got flagged posts in your feed.  And I (reluctantly) remove those whenever they turn up.  So maybe they’ll turn me back into a real boy again some day.  

Still, it’s pretty $%!@$% annoying that neither you nor I can search my blog anymore.  I’ve got more than 7,000 posts, with nearly every single one having an original, usually editorial comment associated with it.

But Tumblr’s corporate masters don’t like being reminded they have penises, and Apple (who kicked things off by banning Tumblr apps from their store) actively deny they have penises because genitals make us look less like milled aluminum Ken and Barbie dolls.

So again, I’m sorry the prim little knees-squeezing twits bunched their undies about “adult content” in the first place.  But I’m not terribly surprised they finally got around to flagging mine.

For the record I keep a desultory mirror of my blog at https://oldenoughtobeyourfather.com.  I keep that up to date sometimes mostly.  And the tags work.  And I manually add posts that get flagged over there too.  Oh, and search still works on it.  But I digress…
